We are growing fast and looking for top-tier industry professionals to grow with us.&nbsp; Job Title: Automotive Dismantler / Production Location:&nbsp;2274 Muscat Avenue, Fresno, CA Classification:&nbsp;Full-Time/&nbsp;Non-Exempt Reports to: Production Manager Our compensation and benefits show how much we value our team<ul><li>17.00 per hour with opportunities for overtime and growth</li><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance-&nbsp;Employer pays a generous portion of employee premiums</li><li>Life Insurance- no cost to the employee</li><li>Paid Vacation and Sick Leave</li></ul> Schedule: Winter Hours: 9:00-5:30 pm - Weekends required * Summer Hours: 10:00-6:30 pm - Weekends required * Job Summary: In this role as&nbsp;Automotive Dismantler, you will process incoming vehicles, prepare them for the yard, and perform dismantling procedures.&nbsp;The ideal candidate enjoys working in the car yard and is committed to working a consistent schedule and contributing to the team. There are plenty of opportunities for growth and overtime. Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>General labor</li><li>Intake the new vehicles into the yard</li><li>Remove harmful components from the cars to prepare them for the yard</li><li>Remove all top/bottom fluids and capture and store them in the proper storage containers</li><li>Remove batteries, mercury switches, and Freon. Store according to environmental requirements</li><li>Loosen tire lug nuts for tire removal. Identifying top-grade tires and wheel sets for retail sales</li><li>Ensure all garbage and non-sellable items are removed from the vehicles</li><li>Sort all recycled material from landfill material</li><li>Follow procedures and accurately mark vehicles following removal of fluids, parts, and trash</li><li>Prep and clean yard rows for setting - Safely set vehicles in the customer yard</li><li>Operate forklift to place cars for safe customer access</li><li>Remove identified auto parts, cores, metals and materials from vehicles</li><li>Maintain tools and equipment used to perform the job, reporting missing or damaged tools or equipment to the supervisor</li></ul> Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Ability to use auto dismantling equipment / operate tools - hand tools, pneumatic tools, fluid evacuation machines, hand pumps</li><li>Experience with auto production, vehicle dismantling, and auto yard - preferred</li><li>Experience operating a forklift - desired, not required</li><li>Ability to lift tires and batteries weighing up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Reliable transportation to get to and from work</li><li>Maintain a consistent work schedule</li><li>Must be able to read, write, and speak English</li><li>Bilingual Spanish - desired, not required</li></ul> Job Conditions:<ul><li>Exposure to the outdoors/weather conditions when working outside</li><li>Regular bending, lifting, and standing/squatting</li></ul> We look forward to receiving your resume!
